this is about me. but where's the homepage?

My name is Ufal Salman, also known as Muhammad Naufal Salman irl. You can find me on the internet as ufal or ufalsalman.

I'm a college student, majoring in food technology. But I do have other work on making things on the internet, translating, making music, writing stuff, doing graphic design and tinkering with computers.

I make articles on my personal blog and my workplace. Sometimes in video form on YouTube and as a podcast. Most of them are in Indonesian, sometimes in English.

As I said before, I already have a main website and a blog, but I really want to have another one as a logsite or something that resembles small web by adding some wee bit of twist like stuffs that I prefer to and a different approach to built it.

This logsite contains my collection of things, and one of them is my writings and ramblings that I want to show on the interwebs presented as daily notes, even though it sometimes not done by each day, with some photos, albums that I listen to, and some subjectively nifty things I want to keep. This might be expanding further on when I want to, but I still want to keep it simple. And as I updated this about page, it expanded quite a lot. I do make some documentations although it's in Indonesian, because I want to help my friends who lives and speaks Indonesian regarding the topics I made the documentations about. May contains NSFW materials inside. Most contents are in Indonesian, but sometimes also in English.

This logsite is made with just some HTML, CSS, and JS files and also using some Python files to generate new page, photo entries, and other stuff, and as an edit, I also started incorporating PHP on some places too to make it more dynamic. Everything is written from scratch because I don't really wanna dig in too deep for the existing static site generator solution (I'm sorry). And also i'm a madman, yeah. (Will make a post on this one later when I got time to do so). I mainly use Visual Studio Code on my Linux desktop to do most of things. But when I kinda lazy or on my phone with Termux, I'm using nano for editing small changes. Terminal is a great place. And also this website is hosted at envs.net, definitely a great place to learn about pubnix and stuff. In addition to that, since I don't really want to make a separate colophon page, I just want to state some of these on how to make this logsite to exist too. I use Adwaita Mono for the interface of the logsite from GNOME. Also some contents like bookmarks, favorites, and stuffs aren't mine. I simply just collecting them to share it back to people who visit my logsite. Some thumbnails are my photos, unless stated otherwise on the credits.

I'm now working as a manager of a middle eastern food shop at home, besides still in college, with some projects I'm doing as a freelancer or just for hobbies and fun. I have interest in linguistics, coffee, retro computers, making music, city development, archeology, history, and space. My main fandom in Japanese culture are Touhou Project, Arknights, NIJISANJI, KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO, IDOLM@STER, BanG Dream!, and DENONBU. There's an intro page that I still consider as a WIP, to express my likings in terms of oshis and pairings that I'm into in the fandoms.

Feel free to explore the whole logsite. My now page is here. You can contact me via email at halo@ufal.my.id or find me on the Fediverse at @ufal@misskey.id or on the Atmosphere at @ufal.my.id or leave me a message on my guestbook.
