It got me thinking aja sih.

Lokalisasi itu kan upaya penerjemahan yang juga ngecater budaya negara tujuan, hence mendekat dengan the locals. But it's kind of a dud buat bahasa Inggris karena bahasa Inggris itu bahasa internasional. And yet kalau pakai standar yang paling sering dipake yaitu en-US sama en-GB, it's technically bisa ada lokalisasi, but it's not "local" for anyone who's not an American or British.

I still do agree that their variation are still considered a standard. But let's face the fact that changing Master to Trainer for UMPD's Bourbon is ridiculous because, sure, the US got dark history around slavery, but not the rest of the world and not in the context of the game itself. Like, why? Idioms are fine, totally. I mean, Metallica's Master of Puppets which was came out 40 years ago got nothing to do with? I'm fine with some progressive-minded people, but not like this, man.
